You must be in compliance with the laws in your place of residence at all times while visiting this website as well as in compliance with all rules and conditions of this website.

All information obtained, downloaded referenced or viewed from Poolside Chat is the sole responsibility of the submittee. Poolside Chat is not libel for any such material or content not its own.

Poolside Management reserves the right to, but is not obligated to, remove any post, image or message that is deemed inappropriate or objectionable by the management, or at the request of members or guests. "Objectionable" is loosely defind as ANY direct form of or realistic depiction of illegal activity such as Child Pornography, Incest, Racial Harassment, Beastiality, Snuff or public Toilet sex.

Poolside Management cooperates with law enforcement in the prosecution of child pornography and hacking.

Visitor's IP addresses are logged for internal use only, as is other network-related information. The management does NOT sell or share information of any kind about its members or guests to other parties.

Poolside management reserves the right to deny access to anyone REGARDLESS OF MEMBERSHIP STATUS.

Security: Poolside Chat and its related services, as with most Internet communications, is vulnerable to various security issues and should be considered only moderately secured. By using the Internet, including Poolside Chat and related services, you may be subject to various risks, including but not limited to:

* Exposure to objectionable material and/or parties.

* Exposure to contaminated files or hostile links as posted by malicious users.

* Unauthorized invasion of your privacy during, or as a result of, your use or another's use of the system.

* Impostoring, harassment, IP Spoofing, eavesdropping, port sniffing, spamming, cracking passwords, electronic trespass, tampering, hacking, nuking, system contamination including but not limited to viruses, worms and Trojan horses causing unauthorized, damaging or harmful access and/or retrieval of information and data on your computer and other forms of activity that may even be considered unlawful. NEVER FOLLOW A LINK OR OPEN AN EMAIL ATTACHMENT FROM SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW!

* Unauthorized exposure of information and material you posted, on or through the Poolside system to other users, the general public or any other entities for which the information and material was not intended. Once posted, a whispered or public message cannot be removed from the screen untill such time as the system removes it from the most recently posted messages. Likewise, one can expect to occasionally receive a message intended for someone else.

* Poolside Chat services are NOT INTENDED for "Mission Critical" or "Content Sensitive" applications.

"Mission Critical" shall mean applications or use where failure of service could result in death, personal injury or damage to data or property;

"Content Sensitive" shall mean any information or data not intended to be accessible by other Internet users.

* Poolside Chat is not intended for use in business or government correspondance.

The IP privacy feature, a feature of registered membership, is designed to allow a Poolside user to REDUCE the exposure of his/her IP address while chatting in the room. It does not guarantee complete non-exposure of the member's IP address while surfing the Internet. Persons using DSL or Cable modems, or those using any form of network with Static (non-changing) IP addresses are strongly encouraged to consider membership, taking reasonable precautions to protect their IP address from port snooping. Your IP address is an integral part of the TCP/IP standard protocol of the Internet, and can be extracted by any knowledgable party from any system using certain software and/or hardware.

If you do not wish to be subjected to these risks, you are advised not to use Poolside Chat.

Registered Members can post in-line images in both the Public and private rooms. Please be respectful of others. Remember good 'Netiquette and do not link to anyone's pictures directly from another website without permission from that website. Only use graphics from your own server or webspace if you wish to display graphics while chatting. Please keep image filesize down to 100 Kilobytes or less. You may not "rapid link" images. (posting several in-line at a time). Check with authors for permission to use or post any material which might be copyrighted. Abuse of this privilage will result in loss of membership and possibly loss of access.
